About this film

Taika Waititi directs this 2022 film, the twenty-ninth in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and sequel to Thor: Ragnarok. Gorr the God Butcher, a killer intent on wiping out all gods, interrupts Thor's retirement, and Thor recruits Valkyrie, Korg, and his former partner Jane Foster, now wielding Mjolnir herself, to stop him. Chris Hemsworth stars alongside Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson, and Natalie Portman. Waititi drew on Jason Aaron's Thor comics from the 2010s.
