About this film

Matt Shakman directs this 2025 film, the thirty-seventh in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the second reboot of the Fantastic Four series. Set in a retro-futuristic 1960s world, the team balances family life with the task of protecting Earth from the planet-devouring Galactus and his herald, the Silver Surfer. Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn star. Unlike earlier adaptations, the film skips the team's origin story.
