About this film

A nine-officer Kerala police unit under SI Manikandan is sent to a Maoist-affected area for election duty in this 2019 Malayalam-language black comedy directed by Khalid Rahman, based on an incident during the 2014 Lok Sabha election. Poorly trained and under-armed, the unit lets its guard down after a quiet first day, until a shootout the next day exposes how unprepared they are. Mammootty, Shine Tom Chacko, Jacob Gregory, and Arjun Ashokan star.
