About this film

Robert Neville, played by Will Smith, is an Army virologist who could not stop the spread of an incurable, man-made virus that has wiped out most of humanity, in this 2007 film directed by Francis Lawrence. Immune to the virus, Neville lives as the apparent last human in New York City, broadcasting daily radio messages in search of survivors while working on a cure. It is the third adaptation of Richard Matheson's 1954 novel, after The Last Man on Earth and The Omega Man.
