About this film

Doug Liman directs this 2014 science fiction action film, loosely adapted from Hiroshi Sakurazaka's 2004 novel All You Need Is Kill. Tom Cruise plays Major William Cage, a public relations officer with no combat experience who is forced into a landing operation against an alien race called the Mimics. Killed within minutes of his first battle, Cage wakes at the start of the same day and relives it repeatedly, using each loop to learn how to survive. Emily Blunt co-stars.
