About this film

Ruben Fleischer directs this 2009 film, his feature debut, from a script by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick that began as a television pilot. Four survivors of a zombie outbreak, Tallahassee, Columbus, Wichita, and Little Rock, travel cross-country toward a rumored sanctuary free of the virus that creates zombies, forming an uneasy alliance along the way. Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin star. Filming took place in Georgia over about a month.
