About this film

The Incredibles (2004) is set in a retro-futuristic 1960s where superheroes have been outlawed and forced into hiding. Bob Parr, once known as Mr. Incredible, now works as an insurance adjuster and raises three children with his wife Helen, formerly the superhero Elastigirl. Brad Bird wrote and directed the film for Pixar, and the plot follows Bob's return to costumed work on a secret assignment that draws his family into a confrontation with a vengeful former fan.
