About this film

Marc Webb's 2014 sequel finds Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker balancing his life as Spider-Man with his relationship with Gwen Stacy, played by Emma Stone, even as he struggles to keep a promise to her father to stay away from her. His childhood friend Harry Osborn, played by Dane DeHaan, returns as Peter digs into clues about his parents' past, while a new villain, Electro, played by Jamie Foxx, emerges. Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, and Jeff Pinkner wrote the screenplay.
