About this film

Snowpiercer, directed by Bong Joon Ho and released in 2013, is adapted from the 1982 French graphic novel Le Transperceneige by Jacques Lob, Benjamin Legrand, and Jean Marc Rochette. After a failed attempt to reverse global warming kills off most life on Earth, the survivors live aboard a train called the Snowpiercer that circles the globe on a perpetual motion engine, with a rigid class system dividing the cars from front to back. The film later inspired a television series of the same name.
