About this film

Destin Daniel Cretton directs this 2021 film, the twenty-fifth in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, from a script he wrote with Dave Callaham and Andrew Lanham. Shang-Chi is drawn back into the Ten Rings organization led by his father, Wenwu, and joins his sister Xialing in a search for a mythical village. Simu Liu stars alongside Awkwafina and Tony Leung. It was the first Marvel Studios film with an Asian director and a predominantly Asian cast.
