About this film

George Miller directs this 2015 film, the fourth installment in his Mad Max franchise, which he also co-wrote with Brendan McCarthy and Nico Lathouris. Set in a post-apocalyptic desert wasteland where fuel and water are scarce, it follows the drifter Max Rockatansky, played by Tom Hardy, who joins forces with Imperator Furiosa, played by Charlize Theron, against the warlord Immortan Joe, played by Hugh Keays-Byrne in his final film role, in an extended battle across the open road.
