About this film

Jordan Peele writes and directs this psychological horror film, his directorial debut, starring Daniel Kaluuya as Chris, who travels upstate with his girlfriend Rose, played by Allison Williams, to meet her parents. He initially reads the family's overly accommodating manner as awkwardness about their interracial relationship, but a series of unsettling discoveries over the weekend reveals something else entirely. The film won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay.
