About this film

Ryan Coogler directs this 2018 film, the eighteenth in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. T'Challa returns to Wakanda to take the throne after his father's death, only to be challenged by Killmonger, who wants to abandon the nation's isolationist policy and use its resources for a global revolution. Chadwick Boseman stars as T'Challa alongside Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, and Danai Gurira. It was the first Marvel Studios film with a Black director and a predominantly Black cast.
