About this film

Cathy Yan directs this spin-off and sequel to 2016's Suicide Squad, the eighth film in the DC Extended Universe. Margot Robbie reprises Harley Quinn, who, freshly split from the Joker, finds herself targeted by Gotham crime lord Roman Sionis. She allies with singer Dinah Lance, assassin Helena Bertinelli, and detective Renee Montoya, forming the Birds of Prey, to protect Cassandra Cain, a teenager who stole a diamond from Sionis and now has a price on her head.
