About this film

Zack Snyder directs this follow-up to Man of Steel, the second film in the DC Extended Universe. Ben Affleck plays Batman and Henry Cavill returns as Superman, with Lex Luthor, played by Jesse Eisenberg, manipulating the two into open conflict while nursing his own obsession with destroying Superman. The film pairs Batman and Superman on screen for the first time and marks Gal Gadot's first live-action appearance as Wonder Woman, introduced amid the fallout as a new threat emerges.
