About this film

Anthony and Joe Russo direct this 2019 film, the twenty-second in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and a direct sequel to Avengers: Infinity War. Written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, it follows the surviving Avengers as they attempt to reverse the actions of Thanos, who erased half of all life in the universe. The film revisits locations and moments from earlier Marvel films and closes several of its heroes' story arcs. It premiered in Los Angeles in April 2019.
